de Le Cuona New Collection

Bernie de Le Cuona's latest accessory collections have been inspired by her travels around the world.
Launching the brand new collection of beautiful accessories, de Le Cuona hosted a press preview for a lucky group to experience the full range of designs before public release. Inspired by Bernie de Le Cuona's global travels, the designs explore the themes of culture, texture and contrast. The Tropics, The Island, The Bush and The Metropolis make up the four collections of styles, grouped by colours and textures, each exhibiting their own individual character and charm. Every cushion has been beautifully made with the de Le Cuona fabrics and the finest of details included.
The Tropics have been conceived by Bernie's trips to Mozambique, an incredible place where African, European and Arabic cultures meet. This collection is built on linen, wool and velvet fabrics, embracing rich and earthy tones to add a welcoming warmth to the home.
The Island has been produced with luxe and natural layering in mind. Soft materials such as linen, wood and suede tantalise the senses and have been coloured in light natural colours such as washed out whites, greys and hints of subtle greens. The collection captures a relaxing dewy morning on the island, surrounded by the enchanted clouds.
The Bush Lodge goes back to Bernie's roots, extracting African style with raw and refined textures, vivid colouring and exotic patterns. Applied to linen, leather and leopard print, each accessory in this collection has a whimsical personality that attracts attention without overpowering a space, perfect for layering with other vivid colours, patterns and textures to create a feature setting.
The Metropolis collection has been inspired by Bernie's visits to some of the world's best cityscapes, a striking contrast to the natural focus of the other three styles. Cities from New York to Shanghai have all played their part in influencing this collection of accessories, capturing the textures, silhouettes and glamor of the city lights at night. Materials used include linens, velvets and cashmere to add the perfect luxurious touch to the home.
