Interior Design Tours Event at Guinevere
Posted on November 19 2017
Launching the Interior Design Tours, curated tours that help visitors make the interiors and design exhibitions around the world, Grant Pierrus and Justin Van Breda invite guests to Guinevere to find out more.
As one exciting year of interiors and design comes to a close, it is already time to prepare 2018 that instantly kicks off with Paris Déco Off and Maison et Objet in January. For those looking to take the hard work and planning out of their experience, Grant Pierrus and Justin Van Breda have created a partnership that may be of interest.
Launching on Thursday 18th January for four days, the Interior Design Tours aims to provide guests with a full experience of the design week, meeting with fellow designers, having insightful talks with industry experts and the opportunity to attend exclusive events such as the Interior Design Tours Gala. With so much going on during Déco Off, the tour is a fantastic way to make sure nothing is missed out, removing the stress and allowing plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Further information on ticket pricing and the programme schedule can be found on the Interior Design Tours website.
The event received an impressive turnout, with interior designers and industry professionals taking over the Guinevere showroom on King's Road. The launch was the opportunity for founders; Grant and Justin to share the plans for the tour and spread the word about the exciting schedule planned. It was also the perfect excuse to explore the Guinevere Antiques showroom and discover the unique treasures and rich history that fills each room, covering everything from lighting to furniture, sculpture and artefacts.
For those that are yet to visit the showroom, I would strongly recommend doing so. The labyrinth of rooms and levels reveal a plethora of beautiful pieces, each opening up historical worlds of design with impressive stories to tell. The most surreal experience of the evening came from the renowned window displays. Creating beautiful room sets to showcase select furniture and accessory pieces for passers-by to admire, when walking amongst these spaces, it is easy to forget that an entire wall is made from glass for the public to peer in, connecting the magical world of Guinevere with the regular goings on of the outside world.
